We are Queer Theatre.

We are Queer Theatre, an award-winning, South London-based theatre company. We tell LGBTQIA+ stories, nurture queer talent and create safe spaces where we can come together, grow and belong, regardless of our differences. Here, we seek what connects us rather than what divides us. Our work may challenge us as artists, but our spaces will always be founded on mutual respect, care, love and support. Above all, we are building a community in which no queer theatre-maker ever needs to spend a week alone again.

From our home in South London, we bring this purpose to life through our queer acting classes, Queer Play Reading Club, OutCast showcases, Queer Theatre Variety Nights, Luvvie: the party for queer people in the performing arts, workshops, theatre trips and productions. We welcome everyone, from enthusiastic beginners to established professionals.

We also make the award-winning Show People Podcast, filmed in front of a live audience and celebrating the people who shape the UK performing arts. Previous guests include Sir Ian McKellen, Rosie Jones and Jack Holden.
